Check out what's under the hood of the Wagoneer

The power of the Wagoneer is now available in two engine options. First, we have the standard 5.7-liter V8 engine, which kicks out a solid 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque which will connect to a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission. If you go with one of the higher trims of the Wagoneer, you will get a brand new engine to the Wagoneer lineup! This one is known as the Hurricane, inline, and it's a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with an exceptional 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque with an engine-mounted charge cooler and a cooling circuit that will cool off the engine if it is too hot. Those who are looking to tow with their Wagoneer will be pleased to know that it can haul up to 10,000 pounds.

Is the Wagoneer safe?

With great power comes excellent safety, and the Wagoneer has these in spades. You will have access to a Drowsy Driver Attention system that will let you know when you are falling asleep behind the wheel and alert you with visual and audio cues. You also get a standard Forward Collision Warning system that will warn you when you are about to get into a frontal collision and will even apply the brakes if you fail to do so. In addition, there are front and rear parking sensors that will alert you to certain obstacles that might not be visible in front or in the back of the Wagoneer while you are parking. The last safety system we will discuss is the Blind-Spot Monitoring System with Rear-Cross Path Detection, which will let you know when another vehicle is traveling in your lane and will let you know when it is safe to make a lane change.

Features for the Wagoneer

Every single trim level of the Wagoneer comes with an abundance of advanced features ranging from performance to luxury and off-road items. The base trim is the Series I, which has a power tailgate, and a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Auto, while the Series II adds a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, tri-zone climate control, and Nappa leather bench seats. You also get standard 22-inch alloy wheels, the front-passenger screen, tri-zone climate control, Nappa leather seats, and a rear-seat entertainment package with dual 10.1-inch rear screens with Amazon Fire TV. Not enough for you? The Series II also offers you a tow package, a tri-pane sunroof, parallel and perpendicular parking programs, and a head-up display. If you want to go off-roading, the Wagoneer has several features available for that, too, as you can get Quadra-Lift air suspension, 20-inch alloy wheels, a 2-speed transfer case, a 3.92:1 rear-axle, an electronic limited-slip differential, and skid plates for the front suspension.
