The 2021 Jeep Cherokee trim lineup starts nicely with the Latitude trim. Like the first few trims of the Cherokee, it comes with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that rips out 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque and connects to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Cherokee comes with front-wheel-drive, but you have the option of four-wheel-drive if you prefer. As for features, the Latitude is well equipped, and it comes with power front windows, exterior mirrors with a heating element, supplemental turn signals, courtesy lamps, a rearview camera, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Tons of safety equipment is available for the Latitude, such as blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, forward collision mitigation, and lane-keeping assist.

Next up is the Latitude Plus, which builds upon what the Latitude offers with some fantastic tech and luxury features such as heated front seats, a premium-wrapped heated steering wheel, remote start, keyless entry, and push-button start. There are also quite a few options available for the Latitude Plus, including dual-zone climate control, a power liftgate, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The Cherokee would like to introduce you to the new Latitude Lux trim for more premium luxury features!  But first, there are a few optional engines. The first is a 3.6-liter V6 that kicks out an astonishing 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque. The second is a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that has 270 horsepower and an impeccable 295 lb-ft of torque. Now let's get to those luxury features! The Latitude Lux comes with Nappa leather seats, power front seats with a power lumbar adjuster, and a windshield wiper de-icer. More safety systems are also available such as lane departure warning and a full-speed forward collision warning. This year, Jeep is celebrating its 80th anniversary, and they are offering the 80th-anniversary edition of the Cherokee that builds off the Latitude Lux with 19-inch wheels with Granite Crystal finish, power front seats with lumbar, dual-zone automatic temperature control, remote start, Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen radio, and a  7-inch full-color thin-film transistor.

More premium features are available for the Limited trim, such as an upgraded driver display in the gauge cluster and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. You also get a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, auto high-beam headlamps, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, parallel/perpendicular park assist with a complete stop, and park sense front/rear park assist with rear stop.

The Cherokee's off-road capability comes in the Trailhawk trim, which comes with some of the most premium off-road features on the market, including an advanced all-wheel-drive system, wider wheels with all-terrain tires, and increased ground clearance. Other features include off-road-oriented suspension tuning, a locking rear differential, hill ascent and descent control, skid plates, and tow hooks.
