Trim Levels of the 2019 Grand Cherokee

There are seven available trim levels for the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee; the Laredo, the Limited, the Trailhawk, the Overland, the Summit, the SRT, and the Trackhawk. Each is more than ready to prove what a fine vehicle they can make of the Grand Cherokee, thanks to their even finer selection of features. The majority of the available trims come with the choice of four- or rear-wheel-drive, the exceptions being the Trackhawk and SRT that get their own all-wheel-drive specialized systems and the Trailhawk that just comes with four-wheel-drive.

Of the seven available trims, the Laredo is the most basic, but it still comes well equipped with climate control, a six-speaker sound system, keyless entry, 17-inch wheels, keyless ignition, smartphone integration for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay enabled devices, seven-inch touchscreen, and rear parking sensors. The Laredo comes standardly equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that comes paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission for 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

If you'd prefer a few more creature comforts in your ride, you may want to consider the Limited trim. Taking the Laredo's standard equipment and building on top of it, the Limited gains a 115-volt power outlet, driver's seat memory setting, heated steering wheel, 18-inch wheels, power liftgate, power-adjustable front seating, heated seating, remote start, auto-dimming driver-side and rearview mirror, and remote start. Starting with the Limited you'll also gain the option to choose between the standard V6 engine,  a three-liter turbodiesel V6 engine that reaches 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, or 5.7-liter V8 engine with 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque.

For a more off-road oriented driving experience, the Trailhawk may very well be the trim for you. Starting with the Limited trim's features, the Trailhawk gains terrain-selectable traction control system, upgraded instrument cluster display, electronic rear differential, unique exterior styling flourishes, adjustable air suspension, underbody skid plates, four-wheel drive, off-road tire equipped 18-inch wheels, and both hill ascent and descent control.

Next up for the Grand Cherokee is the Overland trim. Similar in equipment to the Trailhawk, the Overland exchanges the off-roading features for a more pavement-oriented driving experience.

The next rung of the Grand Cherokee's trim ladder is the Summit, which happens to be one of the most luxury-laden trims of the line. The Summit trim starts with the Overland's set of standard equipment and features, then adds active noise-canceling technology, 19-piece Harman Kardon speaker system, noise-reducing glass, polished 20-inch wheels, advanced safety features, upgraded leather upholstery, and self-parking.

For the high-horsepower standout of the Grand Cherokee's trim lineup, consider the SRT and its 6.4-liter V8 engine and high-performance tuned all-wheel-drive system that runs on 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The SRT also gains sport-tuned brakes and steering, selectable performance modes, a sport body kit, 20-inch wheels with performance tires, sport-tuned adaptive suspension, and a limited-slip rear differential.

Last of the Grand Cherokee's available trims is none other than the Trackhawk. Beginning with the majority of the SRT's standard range of equipment, the Trackhawk then gains an eight-speed transmission and supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that pump out an amazing 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. Adding to that, the Trackhawk gains more aggressive-looking bodywork, unique interior design elements, Brembo brakes, upgraded adaptive suspension, and 20-inch wheels equipped with high-performance tires.
