Time for a Car Checkup

With the holidays right around the corner, there is something to keep in mind. Making sure your car is in tip top shape before you leave for the holidays is more the important. With our minds racing in every which direction, it can be hard to focus on make sure our car is road ready. To help with this, I've created a pre-holiday travel car care checklist.

Most people who are on the side of the road, during the holiday travel season, are people who have flat tires. Before you even head out on the road, you need to check your tires. Your tires are what keep you going, so be good to them. 

Every car should have a car care kit. This kit just involved simple things like an extra battery for your phone, flashlight, food, water, extra blankets and whatever else you want to add. Of course, it's also wise to make sure you have a spare tire and that you know how to change your tire, in case it's flat. 

If it's been a while, then it's important to get an oil change before you head out on your holiday road trip. The oil in your car is the lifeblood to your engine, so don't neglect this important part of your car. You can head to your local car dealership to get your oil changed for not very much money at all. 

While you can see all of the aforementioned issues, you can't always see everything else that's going on in your vehicle. Take your car in for a checkup, before you head out on that holiday road trip. You'll be glad you did! At least you will have peace of mind as you travel, knowing your car is 100% safe.
