The Rochester Hills, Michigan area is known for putting on festivals and events of all kinds throughout the year. As we near the holiday season, the Rochester Hills region will be hustling and bustling with activity, making this the perfect time to get out and get active in the community! Without further ado, here's a quick list of events that are taking place within the next three months.
October 2016
October 22 - Trick-or-Treat Night:Â Halloween kicks off for kids and adults alike at 3:30 with a business trick-or-treat night in Downtown Rochester. At 5:15 p.m., ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and whatever else the kids are dressed up as will march down Water Street as they make the trek to the fire department. At the fire department, attendees can enjoy a kid's craft area, movie, and spaghetti dinner.
October 23 - 6th Annual Scare Away Hunger 5K Run/Walk:Â Residents can help fight hunger by taking part in this year's Scare Away Hunger 5K. All proceeds benefit the Neighborhood House. Activities include face painting, games, a fire truck visit, musical performances, and more.
October 29 - Trick-or-Treat at the Farmers' Market:Â As if once wasn't enough, kids can collect more goodies between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the local farmers' market.
