The 2023 Dodge Hornet is here! This exciting compact-utility vehicle is the first of its kind for the Dodge brand, and it's bringing forth many innovative features for customers to enjoy. Within the lineup, you can choose from several different trim levels, as well as distinctive appearance packages. Each of these options offer a unique selection of features, as well as bold designs that will help you express your personal style! The Dodge Hornet lineup offers a GT trim and an R/T trim, and each of these models have a "Plus" version that adds more premium features. In addition to the trim levels, you can also opt for available packages that add even more variation. Keep reading down below as we describe the various features of the 2023 Dodge Hornet!
G/T
The G/T trim is the base trim level in the 2023 Dodge Hornet lineup. This model is gas-powered, and features a new Hurricane4 engine that's designed for optimized fuel efficiency. The turbocharged Hurricane4 can deliver 265 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The GT features standard all-wheel drive, and offers a total of up to 22.5 inches of screen space, between the standard 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen display, and the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. There's also the GT Plus, which has the same powertrain, but adds some additional features to the mix. For example, the GT Plus features leather-trimmed seats, a heated steering wheel, and a wireless smartphone charger. It also offers a 14-speaker sound system from Harman-Kardon.
R/T
The R/T is a truly exciting addition to the Dodge family, thanks to its unique plug-in hybrid powertrain. This is the first-ever electric powertrain to be offered by Dodge, and it's offering plenty of power, while also helping you significantly reduce your fuel consumption. The R/T features three drive modes, and has an all-electric driving range of over 30 miles. It can offer up to 285 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. In terms of features, the R/T offers a PowerShot feature that can add 25 extra horsepower with the press of a button, and high-performance Brembo brakes. The R/T Plus trim offers premium features just like the GT trim. This includes available red leather seats, a wireless charging pad, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
Appearance Packages
No matter which of the four trim levels you choose, you can opt for one of two available appearance packages! These packages allow you to add special features to your 2023 Dodge Hornet, as well as bold design schemes that help you stand out from the crowd. The first available appearance package is the Track Pack. This bold and sporty package features 20-inch wheels, Alcantara sport seats, Brembo brakes with red calipers, and aluminum interior accents. Meanwhile, the Blacktop package offers a sleek and mysterious look, with features like 18-inch wheels, black mirror caps, gloss black window moldings, and black badges.
Additional Packages
In addition to the two appearance packages we described above, you can also opt for two available add-on packages which will treat you to additional features to enhance your experience behind the wheel. The first available package is the Tech Pack, which is available on all trim levels. The Tech Pack provides you with advanced safety features like traffic sign recognition, active driving assist, drowsy driver detection, and intelligent speed assist. There's also the Cold Weather Package, to improve your comfort and convenience while driving. This package is ideal for cold-weather areas, including features such as a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a remote start system.
