2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten Detroit MI

Ram has introduced a new engine for the 2025 model year, which they call Hurricane. The all-new Hurricane engine takes the place of the outgoing 5.7L HEMI V8 engine in the Ram 1500 lineup. Replacing the V8 with more power and greater fuel efficiency, the 3.0L twin-turbocharged straight-six comes in both a standard- and high-output variant. Under the hood of the Tungsten, you'll find the high-output Hurricane engine, which pumps out an impressive 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. That's 145 more horsepower and 111 lb-ft more torque than the outgoing V8 engine. By using a smaller displacement, two fewer cylinders, and adding two turbochargers, the Hurricane engine also runs more efficiently than the V8 engine. The engine pairs perfectly with a smooth-shifting TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission that powers the Tungsten's advanced four-wheel drive system. The Tungsten trim is also available in the all-new Ramcharger lineup, which is powered by Ram's first-ever PHEV system, featuring the Pentastar 3.6L V6, an onboard generator, and a pair of electric motors. This combination delivers 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. 

The new Ram 1500 Tungsten stands out from the rest of the trim levels with exclusive elements that go beyond the 'Tungsten' badge on the tailgate. Like the Limited trim, the Tungsten comes standard with a crew cab and a five-foot-seven-inch cargo bed. The front end of the 2025 Ram 1500 is upgraded with a forward-leaning, heroic stance and an enlarged grille. The grille maintains the upgraded size an shape as the rest of the lineup. However, it features a distinctive, more refined design. On either side of the grille, you'll find premium bi-functioning LED headlamps in the Ram 1500's reshaped headlight housings. The Tungsten's LED daytime running lights put on a welcome sequence when the truck is remotely started, or when the keyfob comes within proximity. At the same time, projectors integrated into the bottom of the side mirror housings illuminate the ground outside the doors with the 'RAM' script. All-new 22-inch alloy wheels and a power-remote tailgate are also new features introduced by the all-new Tungsten trim. 

When it comes to luxury cars, the exterior broadcasts its exclusivity, but the interior is where you fully experience it. The seats of the all-new Tungsten are covered with Natura Plus leather upholstery and feature massaging, cooling, heating, and 24-way power adjustments with memory settings. The cabin creates a light, airy atmosphere with a Sea Salt Gray and Indigo color palette and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, bringing in an abundance of natural light. The panoramic sunroof is outlined with a premium suede headliner. The color scheme is complimented by luxurious diamond-knurled metal accents with a dual-texture appearance. Rear seat occupants enjoy best-in-class legroom at 45.2 inches. The Tungsten also introduces a class-exclusive Klipsch Reference Premier premium audio system that boasts 23 speakers, including two one-inch dome tweeters and a strategically placed 12-inch high-performance subwoofer for an immersive sound experience. Finally, the Tungsten features the most technology in the Ram 1500 lineup, with over 50 inches of digital screens throughout the cabin. This includes an all-new 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 portrait-oriented infotainment touchscreen, a 12-inch fully-digital gauge cluster, a 10-inch head-up display, an all-new class-exclusive 10.25-inch front passenger touchscreen, and a digital rearview mirror.
