The front exterior of the all-electric Charger Daytona is defined by the patent-pending R-Wing aero pass-through. This unique front opening helps minimize drag and maximize performance at top speeds. The R-Wing is named in honor of a well-known rocket scientist turned aero engineer who has gone down in history for his efforts on making race cars as aerodynamic as rockets.

670 HORSEPOWER + ALL-WHEEL DRIVE

The Charger Daytona Scat Pack features twin 335-horsepower electric motors with one driving the front wheels, and one driving the rear wheels creating a combined 670 horsepower and estimated 627 lb-ft of instant torque. The rear motor houses a mechanical limited slip differential to minimize slipping during high powered all-wheel drive launch moments. Add in Line Lock for smoky burnouts and Launch Control for the perfect start off the line.

The Charger Daytona 100.5 kWh high-voltage battery was designed from the inside out to support one thing—performance. To achieve optimal performance, the best materials are necessary. That's why the Charger Daytona lithium-ion based battery features a high energy density nickel cobalt aluminum chemistry, which is packaged into prismatic cell structures and distributed across 13 in-series modules. The result—this high-voltage battery delivers a blistering initial peak of 550 kW of power and sustains over 500 kW of power to the electric motors for a full 1/4 mile.

A multi-energy gas lineup introduces the SIXPACK High Output 550 Horsepower two-door model and SIXPACK Standard Output 420 Horsepower four-door model available mid-2025.

Does the Next-Gen Charger Have a New Design?

While the 2024 Charger lineup still features the same iconic coupe design as the Chargers you know and love, there are also some new and improved features that make these new models feel fresh and modern. First of all, the SIXPACK features a new Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust System, which creates that signature revving sound that we all associate with muscle cars like the Charger Hellcat. Are There New Engines for the 2024 Dodge Charger?

The 2024 Next-Gen Charger lineup is packed with innovative updates, including some new powertrain options that have never been seen before on a Dodge vehicle! For the Next-Gen Charger Daytona, you'll find Dodge's first-ever fully electric powertrain, earning the Daytona the title of the first-ever electric muscle car. The Daytona offers two trim levels, the R/T, and the Scat Pack. The R/T starts you out at a respectable 496 horsepower, while the Scat Pack is rated at 670 horsepower, and can accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.3 seconds! There's also the Charger SIXPACK, which has a new High-Output Hurricane inline-six engine that delivers 550 horsepower, as well as an available Standard-Output Hurricane engine rated at 420 horsepower.
